After i'd worked my butt off at my grandads it was time for down tools to trip around NZ a bit to enjoy a taste of home and get myself into the travel mode before taking off on my trip. I headed up to Auckland by myself, hired a rental car and casually made my way back to Wellington over 4 nights checking out some sights and catching up with some long lost mates.

Kim, Rhett and Bella (their dog). I also went to Thailand with Kim on AFS all those years back......
After 10 long years I caught up with my school buddy Ramon!
.......also seen Janna and Dean and their babies (mates from Brisbane who moved back to Auckland) and another mate I went to Thailand with (Scotty).....it was pretty much a tour to catch up with my mates of all those years back!
